Virtues of Sadqah

Sadaqah means to spend something in the way of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ without the intention of receiving praise from the people, rather, doing it with the intention to attain reward from the blessed court of Allahعَزَّوَجَلَّ .

(Kitab-ut-Ta’reefat, pp. 94)

From this definition of Sadaqah, we have come to know that real Sadaqah is free from any kind of showing off and desires for respect and praises from the people, it is only done for the pleasure of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and for attaining rewards from Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

Yamīn-ud-Dawla Abul-Qāṣim Maḥmūd ibn Sebüktegīn (Persian: یمین‌الدوله ابوالقاسم محمود بن سبکتگین‎‎), more commonly known as Mahmud of Ghazni (محمود غزنوی; November 971 – 30 April 1030), also known as Mahmūd-i Zābulī (محمود زابلی), was the most prominent ruler of the Ghaznavid Empire. He conquered the eastern Iranian lands and the northwestern Indian subcontinent (modern Afghanistan and Pakistan) from 997 to his death in 1030. Mahmud turned the former provincial city of Ghazna into the wealthy capital of an extensive empire which covered most of today'sAfghanistan, eastern Iran, and Pakistan, by looting the riches and wealth from the then Indian subcontinent.

He was the first ruler to carry the title Sultan ("authority"), signifying the extent of his power, though preserving the ideological link to the suzerainty of the Abbasid Caliphate. During his rule, he invaded and plundered parts of Hindustan (east of the Indus River) 17 times

Every goodness of the world and the Hereafter is in His providence in a real sense. All the blessed companions of our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم were in deep love with the Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.These were those people who for the sake of the Beloved Prophet’s love sacrificed their homes and household goods, wealth, friends, relatives and relations. These were those people who always preferred the pleasure of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to their own pleasure. These were those people who

Makkah-tul-Mukarramah and blessed Madinah, both are the holiest sites on the earth. One can guess the eminence and uniqueness of these great sites through this fact that the apparent and unapparent virtues that Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has granted these holiest cities are only specialities of these blessed cities and are not bestowed upon any other city of the world and why, because the blessed ‘Sacred Baytullah’ which is the supreme place of worship of Muslims exists in blessed Makkah, and

Islam has given the father a prominent and distinguished status. A father is such a great blessing for his children that its example is not found. However, where Islam has highlighted the respect and importance of a father, it has also given some responsibilities to him as a father. One of the most important responsibilities of a father is ‘to give his children a good upbringing’.
